Jane Laidlaw
Our former Vice-President (2015-2019), Jane lives in Clearwater, Florida, but originally from Canada. She comes from a big family of four sisters. Her oldest sister and herself are deaf. She became deaf at age two and a half. During her childhood her mother sent her to a regular school where using sign language was prohibited. Joanne Beausoleil
Joanne Beausoleil is a great supporter of our foundation. She is the oldest of four sisters and became a profound deaf when she was 13 months old from German Measles. One of her sisters is Jane, our dear vice-president. Joanne was born in Toronto, Canada. When growing up Joanne shared with us that her mother had been really tough on them because she did not accept the fact that Joanne and Jane were deaf.

Scott Lewis
Our dear former Vice-President, Scott Lewis, was born deaf, currently living in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He was a caregiver for Caregiver Service, Inc., being always there for his clients to whatever was needed. Scott is known for his trustworthiness and reliability. Currently he holds three jobs: umpire at City of Clearwater Park and Recreational Department; American Sign Language (ASL) tutor and teacher of Fingerspelling at St. Petersburg College which allows the students to better communicate with the Deaf and Deaf-Blind.
